guess I should blog about Christmas, huh?

I'm kinda late on this, but at least it's here now. :)

We went to Fort Scott, Kansas this Christmas to spend with the Holloways. It was lovely, low key and relaxing. OH, except that I was hobbling around on one foot because I tripped on this:

which resulted in two stitches and this:

I have an unbandaged (word?) photo, but I'll let you keep your lunch. (but look at our beautiful new floors!)

And THEN my Acupuncturist tried to kill me* with Viola Golden Flower herbs which resulted in this:

And this was on the second day! (Those are hives, by the way. And my super fleshy, super pale and super non-muscular leg)

So evidently Viola Golden Flower herbs don't agree with me, what with the hives inside the bottom of my feet (yeah, it sounds weird to me, too, and feels even weirder), the hives all over my legs, arms, tummy, and by the looks I got at the grocery store that morning when my lips swelled up at the check out. Definitely not taking those again. One steroid shot later I'm right as rain. OH and after the antibiotic I was also given for all the fluid in my lungs. Thanks Preschool!

Anywho, we did have an awesome Christmas. Lots of this was seen:

Christmas cookie dough rolling with Aunt Yvonne

Christmas cookie shaping

Christmas cookie baking

mmmmm...Christmas cooookies...

Christmas cookie decorating with Mimi

He was very unsure he was just supposed to eat all that hard work, but it didn't take much convincing.

We cooked (well, not me since I was told I couldn't) lovely meals, listened to great music, we met Jared's girlfriend (Hi Summer!), and we exchanged gifts. Awesome Christmas. :)

Before we left town we had our Christmas with Matt's family, and, as always, it was great!

And, believe it or not, my son has had FOUR Christmases. FOUR. This is a terrible picture of a picture, but I'm too lazy to figure out how to get them all together the cool way.

*added for dramatic flare. She's pretty harmless. Except for sticking me with 15 or so needles each time I see her.
